About Northumberland Arms Pub
Welcome to The Northumberland Arms in Bloomsbury.
From literally Humble beginnings (when, in 1825, Mr Humble became the first registered resident of this address), this pub rose to become promoted in 1897 as ‘The Cornerstone of Fitzrovia – a proper pub with proper grub and a nice drop of ale’ and enjoyed the distinction of being the site of Karl Marx’s arrest for smashing a street lamp during a fight on Tottenham Court Road.
If you're looking for a local in the heart of the city where you can escape the bustling streets and shoppers of London's Tottenham Court Road then look no further.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
