The Snooty Fox is a delightful 17th century country pub, with plenty of period features. We offer a comfortable Bed & Breakfast, which is perfect if you're visiting Kirkby Lonsdale or just fancy a relaxing getaway.

With close proximity of the Yorkshire Dales National Park & The Lake District. The pub is surrounded by beautiful scenery, which is enjoyed by ramblers, bikers, walkers and cyclists. Once you're done exploring the local area, it's then time to unwind in our warm and welcoming pub. Our beer garden and extensive court yard is bathes in sun all day long. 

In the winter months you will find roaring fires, and in the summer you can spend hours in our delightful gardens overlooking scenic views, whilst you enjoy some fabulous drinks and delicious food. Our external TV's will be showing Sky and BT Sports.

Our Rooms

At The Snooty Fox we guarantee you a welcoming and comfortable stay

There are six en-suite rooms in total, comprising one comfort double & six standard doubles. All of our rooms are en-suite with showers, towels, bathmats, shower gel and hand wash.

Our rooms also include tea and coffee making facilities, a television, hairdryer and suitcase rack  

The room rate is inclusive of breakfast, which is served 7:00am-10:00am in our pub restaurant, including all of your cooked breakfast favourites, pastries, fruit, cereals, juice and a selection of teas or a large cup of freshly ground coffee.

We have 5 dog friendly rooms, please ask for one if you're bringing your furry friend.

Leave at Junction 36 of the M6, following signs for Kirkby Lonsdale A65, keep going until you reach the roundabout next to Booths supermarket.

Take the first exit toward Booths and turn right at the end of the road.

We are situated on the right hand side of the road opposite the Post Office next to New Road Car park.

The nearest train station to The Snooty Fox Kirby Lonsdale. To get here by bus, the best ones are the Lancaster number 81, and Kendal number 567.
